<b>Data and code to reproduce the analysis in Hauenstein, S., J. Fattebert, M. Grüebler, B. Naef-Daenzer, G. Pe'er and F. Hartig. 2019. Calibrating an individual-based movement model to predict functional connectivity for little owls. <i>Ecological Applications</i></b><i><br></i><b>Fileset structure:</b><br>- folder 'code' contains all R scripts and functions to reproduce the environmental data manipulation and the analysis- 'LOSim' is an R package acting as interface to the IBM coded in c++. This R package can also be installed from GitHub: https://github.com/shauenstein/Anoctua<br>- 'data' contains the raw data as provided by the Swiss Ornithologial Institute. Additional meta data has to be requester there. 'data' also contains 'gpsUD.csv', which contains the utility distribution data used to predict habitat suitability.<br>- 'envVars' only contains the estimated habitat suitability grid, which is necessary to run the IBM ('LOSim'). Additional environmental data has to be downloaded or requested from the sources referenced in the bibliography of the paper this repository is linked to.
