Data for: Paleoenvironmental insights from Sr and Ca isotope composition of the Paleoproterozoic Huronian Supergroup carbonates

This dataset contains raw analytical data generated for the characterization of Paleoproterozoic carbonate successions from the Huronian Supergroup in Ontario, Canada (Espanola and Gordon Lake formations). The data package includes: 1) Major and trace elemental concentrations (Mg, Ca, Sr, and Rb) analyzed by ICP-MS and GFAAS. 2) Radiogenic strontium isotope ratios (87Sr/86Sr) and mass-dependent stable strontium isotope compositions (δ88/86Sr) measured via Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometry (TIMS) using the double-spike method. 3) Calculated 87Rb/86Sr ratios at 2.4 Ga. 3) Stable calcium isotope ratios (δ44/42Ca and converted δ44/40Ca) determined by Multi-Collector Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (MC-ICP-MS).
