淮河流域土壤水分观测网位于在淮河流域中部淮北平原,于2019年7月开始建立,其目的是用于发展和验证湿润半湿润地区的陆面过程模型及卫星土壤水分反演算法。试验使用中国科学院南京土壤研究所(ISSCAS)主持研发的基于频域反射(FDR)的SMS-1型土壤含水量传感器,在每个站点(固镇、河溜和鲍集)有4个探头分别放置在地下5、20、40、100厘米处,每隔30分钟对所在位置的温湿度进行采样并记录。同时,对各个站点不同土层的传感器根据实际土壤含水量(称重法测定)进行了标定,以尽可能减小仪器测定的误差。
The Huaihe River Basin Soil Moisture Observation Network is situated in the Huaibei Plain within the central region of the Huaihe River Basin. It was established in July 2019, with the core objective of developing and validating land surface process models and satellite soil moisture retrieval algorithms for humid and semi-humid regions. The network adopts the SMS-1 soil moisture sensor based on Frequency Domain Reflectometry (FDR), which was independently developed under the leadership of the Institute of Soil Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ISSCAS). At each of the three monitoring sites (Guzhen, Heliu, and Baoji), four probes are deployed at depths of 5, 20, 40, and 100 cm underground, respectively. The in-situ temperature and humidity are sampled and recorded every 30 minutes. Additionally, the sensors installed in different soil layers at each site were calibrated against the actual soil moisture measured via the gravimetric method, to minimize the measurement errors induced by the instruments.
