Statistical analysis and raw data for Kono and Kanno: Vocal quantity–quality relationships in mouse courtship USVs

This repository contains the data files, R scripts, R Markdown files, rendered HTML statistical reports, and figure outputs necessary to reproduce the statistical analyses reported in the manuscript “Linking Quantity and Acoustic Properties of Courtship Vocalizations in Male Mice” by Kono and Kanno.<br>The repository includes datasets and scripts for the main analyses of courtship ultrasonic vocalizations (USVs) in ICR males and the reanalysis of C57BL/6J males, as well as additional analyses of intra-individual variability, behavioral annotations from synchronized video recordings, bout-related measures, and within-bout acoustic dynamics.<br>A complete file index is provided in README_Data_and_Analysis_Files_Kono-Kanno_BBR2026.xlsx. This file describes the correspondence between each data file, analysis script, statistical report, figure output, and manuscript figure.<br>All statistical analyses were conducted using R version 4.5.1. The included HTML reports provide detailed statistical outputs corresponding to the main and supplementary figures.
