To illuminate the genome sequence of CA20 will be helpful for understanding the underlying mechanims responsible for its robust capacity in erythritol production. Meanwhile, novel gene loci that are suitable for engineering to improve the erythritol production will be found after knowing the genome sequence. Further, release the genome of CA20 will help us study the genome evolution of Yarrowia lipolytica.
