This project restores the growth defects of Saccharomyces cerevisiae through adaptive evolution. After adaptive evolution, the phenotype of the strain was improved, the glucose uptake rate was increased, and the yield of tyrosol was increased. Transcriptome analysis showed that the expression of genes related to glucose transport and metabolism increased, and the genes related to carbon cycle increased. And SNP changes were found in related genes. These genes may be related to the increase of glucose uptake rate and the recovery of yeast growth.
