People charged for cyber crimes across India 2022, by state

The southern state of Karnataka in India had the highest number of people charged for cyber crimes in 2022, with over 12.5 thousand. Telangana followed with over 11 thousand people charged for the same variety of crimes that same year. Overall, the country saw more than 44.94 thousand people convicted in legal proceedings owing to cyber crimes that year.
