Modal share of transportation South Korea 2021, by means of transport

In 2021, the modal share of passenger cars in South Korea amounted to around 69 percent. Following the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, the use of passenger cars dramatically increased due to various social distancing measures that were implemented to reduce contact among people.
