Identifying inoculant rhizobia from peanut nodules using amplicon sequencing of rpoB. rhizosphere metagenome

In this study, we used amplicon sequencing targeting the rpoB gene to study the diversity of local rhizobial populations in peanut nodules. The analyses of the sequence data showed that amplicon sequencing of rpoB can be used as a straightforward method to identify bradyrhizobial strains in nodules at the species level.
