Media: U.S. Army and Media Coverage of Psychopharmaceuticals in Iraq and Afghanistan Wars

This data set draws from ethnographic fieldwork examining the use of psychopharmaceuticals by the US Army in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Fieldwork included semi-structured interviews, ethnographic observation at military healthcare conferences and clinical trainings, and archival research. This record focuses on the archival research collecting media coverage of the U.S. military and court cases involving the use of psychopharmaceuticals and substance use. The record includes textual data extracted from media coverage.
