资源简介:
Data and R scripts related to publication “Duffett, D;
D’Amico, M; Mulero-Pázmány, M; González-Suárez, M (2020) Species' traits as
predictors of avoidance towards roads and traffic. Ecological Indicators” https://doi.org/10.1016/j.ecolind.2020.106402"
ReadME pdf file includes detailed description of the field methods to obtain the data and the steps of the data analysis.
Data include:
- 513 observations of sighted ungulate species, hoofed
mammals, near paved and unpaved roads in three protected areas in South Africa.
Data obtained during October 2016. File “Transect_records.csv”. File “Transect_characteristics.csv”
provides summary data for each sampled transect including location, weather, and
traffic.
- Trait data for the 18 species represented in the dataset
including information on morphology, reproduction, longevity, foraging habits,
and social structure. File “Trait_data.csv”.
- Phylogenetic tree as obtained from Fritz, S.A., Bininda‐Emonds, O.R. and Purvis, A., 2009. Geographical variation in predictors of mammalian extinction risk: big is bad, but only in the tropics. Ecology letters, 12: 538-549. File "Fritz_tree.nex"
The R script ("Duffett_et_al_Ecol_Indic_Data_Analysis.Rmd") shows all analyses and how the figures for the
manuscript were generated.
