Transcriptome analysis of response to phosphate starvation in Marchantia paleaca. Marchantia paleacea subsp. diptera

In seed plants, Strigolactone (SL) biosynthesis genes and transporters respond to phosphate starvation to regulates plant growth. To know if SL-related genes are a response to phosphate starvation also in Marchantia. paleaca, we performed transcriptome analysis comparing thallus grown on normal conditions and phosphate-deficient conditions by RNA-seq.
