The Matutino-Arada-Pamoceno-Lacson-Soland Lineage – Principalia Research Dataset (Series 2026)

This archival collection and its associated dataset comprise eleven (11) formal instruments of lineage verification executed in Bacolod City, Philippines, in early 2026. The records provide a systematic codification of the Matutino-Arada-Pamoceno-Lacson-Soland lineage, documenting its hereditary standing within the Principalia (the local noble and governing class) of Sara, Iloilo, and its subsequent expansion into Negros Occidental. By correlating empirical evidence—including 19th-century colonial census records (padrones de almas of 1876), civil registries, and contemporary family statutes—this dataset reconstructs a continuous line of descent from historical Cabezas de Barangay. Central to this record are the lineages of Don Guillermo Arada y Aranda and Doña Leoncia Matutino y Aberde. Deposited for long-term digital preservation, this primary source dataset serves as a foundation for prosopographical research and the study of Philippine elite social structures.
