We utilized bulk RNA-seq to profile the mRNA expression in day 10 wounds of db/db mice treated with control no strain patches, strain patches or tegaderm only Overall design: Full thickness 6mm punch biopsy wounds were inflicted on the back of 12-week old male db/db mice. Immediately after injury, ~30% strain inducing patches, no strain patches, or tegaderm (TD) only were applied onto the wounds. The tissue was collected on Day 10 post-wounding for downstream analyses. mRNA profiles from back skin wounds of TD treated db/db mice (n=5), strain (n=4) and no strain (n=3) were examined.
