Dataset of the article entitled: Direct link between convergent evolution at sequence level and phenotypic level of septal pore cap in Agaricomycotina

This repository contains data associated with the manuscript “Direct link between convergent evolution at the sequence level and phenotypic level of septal pore cap in Agaricomycotina.” The deposited files include multiple sequence alignments for reciprocal best-hit (RBH) orthologs, phylogenetic trees, output files from ancestral sequence reconstruction. These data were used to identify candidate genes and amino acid sites associated with convergent evolution of septal pore cap morphology in Agaricomycotina. Scripts used for RBH extraction, gene tree topology analysis, and detection of convergent amino acid substitutions are available in the associated GitHub repository: https://github.com/toiizuka/SPC-convergence-pipeline.
