Viral metagenome profile of Native Aquatic Birds (Mallard Duck & Embden goose) from fresh water lakes in Assam state of North Eastern Region of India during 2015-16.

Cloacal and Oro-pharyngeal swabs were collected from native aquatic birds species, Mallard duck and Embden goose from the fresh water lakes in the Assam state of North-Eastern Region of India. Swabs were collected before the onset of the migratory season (September to October) and again after the culmination of migratory season (April-May). The swabs were pooled species wise, body environment wise and time point wise.
