资源简介:
Data repository for the article "Eddy current effects for magnetic dipoles in arbitrary motion", which can be found here:https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jmmm.2026.174051 and http://dx.doi.org/10.2139/ssrn.5912872These data are located on the repository at data.dtu.dk, with DOI:10.11583/DTU.30187105 and URL: https://doi.org/10.11583/DTU.30187105 Overview:The study concerns the forces and torques that a dipole magnet experience when moving in the vicinity of conductors on account of the eddy currents induced in the conductive material. We modelled three cases : a pair of conductive magnets, a magnet above a conductive plate and a magnet submerged in conductive material. The main results are the analytical derivations. The files ErrorVsFrequency.pdf, torqueComparison.pdf, twoSpheresCurrentDensity.pdf and twoSpheresMomentValidation.pdf show the result of Comsol simulations used to validate the model and test its range of validity. The associated .txt files like ErrorVsFrequency.txt contain the raw data plotted and the .m files are the matlab scripts used for plotting. The files rotatingDipole03.gif and rotatingDipole04.gif are animations of the Comsol simulation of a dipole rotating above a thick, conductive plate. The files EddyCurrentsTest04validation_ErrorVsFrequency_FINAL_NoSol.mph and EddyCurrentsTest04validation_FINAL_NoSol.mph are the Comsol simulation scripts. To reduce the file size, they do not contain the converged solutions, but they can be reproduced by running the .mph scripts.
