Dataset for transcriptome of the mangrove oyster Crassostrea gasar

We revisited the pyro-sequenced (Roche 454) sequencing data of transcripts of gills and digestive glands of C. gasar exposed to three common environmental contaminants: diesel fuel water-accommodated fraction (WAF), phenanthrene (PHE), and domestic sewage (SWG); a control group for each contaminant was also held. Using different and updated assemblers, we acquired a consensus transcriptome assembly by following the pipeline proposed by the National Center for Genome Analysis Support (NCGAS) to generate a combined de novo transcriptome (CDTA).
