Dataset for : Mixing and layering at the interface of a two-layer fluid forced by random jets

This dataset contains the results of seven laboratory experiments investigating mixing and stratification in a two-layer salt-stratified fluid forced by synthetic random jets. The measurements consist of time-resolved vertical density profiles acquired throughout each experiment, allowing the characterization of the interface evolution, mixing efficiency, and formation of step-like structures. The data are provided in a processed format, with profiles regularly sampled in time, making them directly usable for analysis, comparison, and validation of numerical models.
