Transcriptomic profile of peripheral blood neutrophils in inflammatory bowel disease (Homo sapiens Raw sequence reads)

Polymorphonuclear neutrophils were isolated from EDTA-anticoagulated peripheral blood of patients with Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis (collectively known as inflammatory bowel disease, IBD), following Histopaque double-gradient density centrifugation. Their transcriptome was analyzed by RNA-Sequencing. Healthy individuals who had no history of IBD were included in the study.
