资源简介:

Data and reproducible processing framework supporting the manuscript “Irrigation priority, late hedging and an undocumented minimum-flow rule: twelve years of gauged allocation at Poechos, Chira basin, Peru”. The Poechos reservoir, on the Chira River in northern Peru, is analysed from 12.6 years of daily operational records at seven independent gauging stations, in order to establish observationally how the operator divides the released water between two irrigation canals and the river, when it rations deliveries, what minimum flow the river actually receives, and what regulation has done to the downstream flow regime. Scope of the dataset. 7 gauging stations · 4,597 days (December 2013 – August 2026) · water balance closed by two independent routes (r2 = 0.979 daily by outlet summation, 0.977 monthly by storage change) · an undocumented 5.0 m3/s operating setpoint held on 1,463 days · 232 setpoint breaches, 93 of them at zero flow · median downstream discharge reduced 87 % relative to the unregulated inflow. Contents code/ — the methodology and verification scripts that produce every reported result, plus a shared module of constants and helpers and the table generator. Each script reads only the outputs of its predecessors, so any step can be re-run in isolation. Figure scripts are deliberately excluded: this deposit documents how the results were obtained, not how they were drawn. data/ — every intermediate and final product in CSV: the consolidated daily discharge and storage database, the quality-control log, the balance residuals, the allocation partitions, the empirical rationing curve, the performance metrics, the alteration indicators, the monthly breach matrix and the anticipation predictors. The two ENSO indices are included as distributed by their providers. figures/ — the ten main and three supplementary figures, in PNG at 400 dpi and in vector PDF. tables/ — the five main and two supplementary tables, in CSV and in LaTeX. The Coastal El Niño Index (ICEN) is published by the ENFEN multisectoral commission and the Oceanic Niño Index (ONI) by the NOAA Climate Prediction Center. The reservoir operating rules are available from the public archive of the Regional Government of Piura. Licence Code under the MIT licence; data, figures and tables under CC BY 4.0.
