Examination of prescription opioid-related risks using prescription drug monitoring programs and clinical screening tools

This thesis examines two widely adopted methods of identifying prescription opioid-related risk; prescription drug monitoring programs and clinical screening tools. It identifies how using a combination of both approaches can enable identification of a broader range of risks and support more informed clinical decisions.
