Analiza finansowa ekonomicznej kondycji na przykładzie przedsiębiorstwa produkcyjnego z branży maszyn górniczych

This paper refers to the economic situation of the mining machinery manufacturer and aims to analyze the financial health of the company over the period of 2006 to 2011. This assessment is carried out on the basis of the model of sustainable development proposed by John Zietlow. The financial health is understood here as the composite of fifteen indicators of solvency, liquidity and financial flexibility. Moreover, these indicators are divided into four groups based on considered time horizon. The analysis is made through a calculation which uses the data from the financial statements. The final step is to determine the Financial Health Index and describe the conclusions consequent to the results achieved by this measure.
