Mollusc species and abundance was determined within fifty-five GCE LTER hammock sites and five GCE LTER study sites in June-July 2007. Species abundance was determined by hand-collecting all molluscs from within quadrats of known area at six plots at each site. Molluscs were brought back to the lab, preserved in ethanol, then counted and measured (size data is reported separately).
