资源简介:
The catalytic hydrogenation of CO2 has become increasingly attractive for the use of this greenhouse gas as an economical source of C1 carbon. Nickel (Ni) is one of the most commonly used catalysts due to its relatively high activity and economic viability compared to the noble metals. With spectroscopic Bragg Coherent X-ray Diffraction Imaging (spectro-BCDI), a state-of-the art characterisation tool, we aim to reveal both the structural (lattice strain, defect(s), facets and morphology) and chemical (composition and oxidation states) characteristics of Ni and alloyed Ni-Fe catalysts. We will create guidelines for the design of both efficient and selective catalysts for CO2 hydrogenation. The effect of alloying and support-catalyst interaction will also be evaluated.
