Prionailurus viverrinus isolate:Anna Genome sequencing and assembly

This high-quality genome assembly was constructed from a female fishing cat (Prionailurus viverrinus) selected from the Association of Zoos and Aquarium population. Through the use of pedigree evaluation, this feline was found to be an ideal representative candidate for the current zoo-managed population and fishing cat species. This assembly will allow insight into genome-wide diversity, aid in identifying segregating deleterious alleles and ultimately promote the conservation of this vulnerable species.
