This work focuses on the characterization of perovskite photovoltaic cells (PPVCs) for visible light communication (VLC) in terms of efficiency and bandwidth, especially for indoor and outdoor environments. Moreover, a comparison between different perovskite devices bandgap is carried out to observe the relationship between bandgap-bandwidth and bandgap-efficiency. The results demonstrate the viability of using PPVCs for VLC based on the achieved bandwidth of 4.85 MHz and 22% efficiency.
