资源简介:
The Plum Island Sound Comparative Ecosystems
Research Program is part of the The Land Margin
Ecosystems Research Program developed by the
National Science Foundation (NSF). LMER was
started to help answer pressing scientific and
societal questions about the present functions and
future changes of coastal environments. The goals
of LMER are to increase the understanding of the
organization and function of land-margin
ecosystems, the linkages between these systems and
adjacent terrestrial and marine ecosystems, and
the impacts of major natural environmental
perturbations in these regions.
Rhodamine dye concentration transects (distances
in meters from Parker River Dam) measured at high
tide. Tidal cycle 1 is first high tide after
addition of the dye. Part of LMER - Plum Island
Sound Comparative Ecosystems Study (PISCES).
