These data were submitted by Mr. Hou Wenfeng of National Oceanographic Data Center. They contain marine meteorological and weather observations obtained as part of the Tropical Ocean Global Atmosphere (TOGA) Area-Pacific (30 N to 30 S) Peoples Republic of China (PRC)/USA program. The data were collected from December 12, 1985 to February 18, 1986 in the Equatorial Pacific Ocean by the South Sea Branch of the State Oceanic Administration, PRC. Wind, temperature, wave and cloud data are included.
