Reported results and analysis documentation for genetic evaluation of growth and morphometric traits across ages in Peranakan Etawa goats

This dataset provides the reported aggregate results, supplementary tables, figures and mathematical documentation supporting the manuscript “Genetic evaluation of growth and morphometric traits across ages in Peranakan Etawa goats”. The study analysed 49,162 measurements from 1,976 animals across 35 trait–age responses, using a pedigree comprising 2,819 individuals. Analyses included direct-only and common-dam animal models, within-age bivariate correlations, targeted joint models incorporating earlier measurements, descriptive birth-cohort profiles, and sensitivity analyses for flagged measurements. The deposit contains 16 CSV files reproducing the displayed numerical tables and normalized parameter/correlation records, 14 original embedded figure files, supplementary material, model equations, variable dictionaries, and reference post-processing utilities. The numerical values retain the rounding used in the source documents. Unavailable accepted estimates are explicitly distinguished from zero. This reporting release does not contain individual phenotypic records, pedigree rows, individual estimated breeding values, full-precision parameter covariance matrices, or the original DMU fitting pipeline. It therefore supports inspection and reuse of the reported results but does not permit independent reproduction of all REML estimates and standard errors.
