资源简介:
Description: basic data of mine soils in post-mining pastures under different treatments as a result of the combination of presence/absence of shrubs and presence/absence of livestock.
This paper highlights the role of native legume shrubs in mitigating the negative effects of grazing on soil degradation in post-mining Mediterranean pastures, helping to maintain soil nutrient storage levels similar to those found in the absence of grazing. This is evident in the C:N:P stoichiometry and stocks of C-N-P and exchangeable cations, such as K+ and Mg+2. The findings suggest that shrubs can be as effective as livestock exclusion in maintaining soil nutrient cycling processes and that management strategies should consider both grazing and shrubland dynamics to optimize nutrient cycling in these degraded environments.
