资源简介:
The Buckaroo Site (85NM613) is a 12 room, massive masonry pueblo situated on a finger-like terrace above the north bank of the Palomas creek in south central New Mexico. The Palomas flows down from the eastern flanks of the Black Range Mountains and joins the Rio Grande about 160 miles south of the modern city of Albuquerque. The 12 rooms of the pueblo are arranged in 3 rows of 4 rooms each. Unit 3 is the southeastern most room. Unit 4, also excavated in 1991, is the adjacent room to the north. Unit 1 is the southwestern most room of the pueblo and is located just south of Unit 2. Both Unit 1 and 2 were excavated during the 1989 and 1990 field seasons.
