Several groups are involved in the generation of B. napus ESTs and the sequences are available through genbank. Genoplante has deposited a large number of ESTs to the public databases. Saskatoon Research center in Canada is involved in large scale EST sequencing as part of their Brassica/Arabidopsis Comparative Genome project. University of Minnesota and the Plant Molecular Genetics Laboratory at Pohang University of Science and Technology, Korea are involved in Brassica napus Sequence Analysis Project.
