This data set is a backup of the 1985 tropical pacific subsurface (XBT/ MBT) thermal data. The current direction, salinity and temperature for Tropical Ocean Global Atmosphere (TOGA) were measured in this study. This data set format is a modified form of the NODC Universal Bathy Therm (UBT) of GF3 format.
