Camera-trap records of potential amphibian predators at breeding sites in the Morava River floodplain

Dataset contains camera-trap records of animals occurring at two important amphibian breeding sites in the Morava River floodplain, Czech Republic: the Chropyňský luh National Nature Reserve and the Litovelské Pomoraví Protected Landscape Area. Monitoring was conducted from March to October 2025. Each record contains the camera-trap identifier, locality, date and time, recorded species, number of individuals, presence of juveniles, observed behaviour, identified food item and temporal classification into ten-day periods. The dataset was used to evaluate the species composition, behaviour, circadian activity and seasonal dynamics of potential amphibian predators. A total of 6,746 individuals classified as potential amphibian predators were recorded after excluding the predominantly herbivorous coypu and Eurasian beaver.
