The study aimed to compare the gene expression profiles at a single cell level in peripheral blood (human&pig), lung-derived (pig), bone marrow (pig) mononuclear cells (MNC) between subjects with cystic fibrosis (CF) and disease controls (WT). Overall design: Cryopreserved MNC of four donors were pooled and then processed for generating single-cell RNA sequencing libriaries for each genotype, cell source and species.
