"Mr. Burnett." Portrait showing Mr. Alexander Burnett seated outside on a woven chair with a dog standing beside him. Alexander [Archie] Burnett, horticulturalist to the Blantyre mission, took the photographs of the building of Blantyre church and also was the first person to take moving films of all the Livingstonia mission stations using a 16mm camera. He was married and had a daughter called Blossom. ❧ From a Photograph Album of the Blantyre Mission, Nyasaland [Malawi] and the Mihecani Mission, Portuguese East Africa [Mozambique].
