Saltwater recreational angler survey response data to assess current visitation and future visitation under climate/land use change scenarios, Suwannee River Estuary, Florida, 2023

The survey captured information regarding the respondent’s trip frequency to the study area (Suwannee River Estuary, Florida) in the past two years, trip expenses, catch rate, and effort. A stated preference component was included in the survey to estimate angler’s willingness to revisit fishing locations provided alterations in species distribution and water quality scenarios. The survey targeted 600 saltwater anglers and was implemented in 2023. The survey provided the following outputs: a recreational demand model for the Suwannee River Estuary, Florida, and willingness to pay across potential recreational sites.
