This sequence represents symbiotic cyanobacteria cultivated from coralloid roots from Dioon Merolae. These contigs have been assembled using the genome of Nostoc sp. 106C as reference and using reads from the metagenome of a community culture of coralloid roots symbionts of the cycad Dioon Merolae. This sequence sequence is part of a study aimed to understand the ecological en evolutionary processes driven by the symbiotic interactions between ancient lineages of plants and bacteria
