The cruise period was 29 January to 8 February 2007. The NOAA fisheries research vessel DELAWARE II sampled at a total of 36 stations. Of these, 29 were located in the Gulf of Maine and 7 were located on Georges Bank. The Gulf of Maine stations included 3 fixed stations: the Wilkinson and Jordan basins, and the site of a proposed liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal east of Boston Harbor (Figure 1).
