Soil and ecosystem functioning data in productive landscapes of the Peruvian Amazon

The dataset “Soil physico-chemical, biological, and respiration data across environments/places (Ucayali, Peruvian Amazon)” contains 54 soil samples collected from seven land-use systems in the Ucayali region of the Peruvian Amazon: degraded primary forest (DPF), degraded secondary forest (DSF), cacao agroforestry (Tc), oil-palm plantations of different ages (Eg1–Eg3), and Brachiaria decumbens pastures (Pas). Each record represents a composite sample taken at 0–20 cm soil depth, with UTM coordinates (zone 18S, EPSG:32718). The dataset includes 31 variables grouped into physical, chemical, and biological categories.
