Gene expression profiles in pairs of synchronous and metachronous bilateral breast tumors and primaries and their local recurrences

Dissecting time-related from genetic-related gene expression variability in the bilateral breast cancer model. We investigated gene expression variations within three sets of paired samples, including 18 Synchronous Bilateral Cancer, 11 Metachronous Bilateral Cancer and 10 Local Recurrence Cancer, in women with negative lymph nodes which have been subjected to loco-regional treatment only.
