Supplementary Table for "Redescription of Axine japonica (Monogenea: Axinidae) from New Exocoetid Hosts in Japan"

This dataset contains morphometric measurements and counts of Axine species (Monogenea: Axinidae) collected from various teleost hosts. The data were compiled as Supplementary Table 1 for the manuscript entitled "Redescription of Axine japonica (Monogenea: Axinidae) from New Exocoetid Hosts in Japan".Drawings were made with the aid of a drawing tube fitted on an Olympus BX50 compound microscope (Olympus, Tokyo, Japan). Measurements are in micrometers, expressed as ranges followed by mean values and the number of specimens measured shown in parentheses. Host fish were collected in accordance with institutional guidelines and local regulations. The table includes data from the present study as well as comparative data from previously published literature for cross-referencing.This dataset is provided to ensure transparency and reproducibility of morphometric analyses, and to aid in future taxonomic studies of species within the family Axinidae.
