This work undertakes the effort to understand the carbon flow to and from L-Tyrosine by sequencing an L-Tyrosine overproducer Corynebacterium glutamicum ATCC 21573's genome, which was constructed through random mutagenesis. The obtained information can be used to identify and then relieve the bottlenecks in L-Tyrosine production for the rational design of Corynebacterium glutamicum overproducers.
