Danish Gallup Omnibus Data 1966, Omnibus no. 06

Danish Gallup Omnibus Data 1966 comprises 10 omnibus surveys carried out by the Danish Gallup Institute in 1966. This data material contains information from omnibus no. 06. # #Each survey contains a number of demographic variables common to all the surveys of that year, as well as a number of questions dealing with topical events. # #The questions common to all 1966 omnibuses are: degree of ur- banization, sex, age, marital status, occupational status of respondent and of supporter, income of family, school education of respondent, social group and party preference. In addition, omnibus nos. 08-12 contain information about: way of income of respondent, income of respondent, composition of household, position of housewife and her employment, respondent's position in household and type of dwelling. # #The special questions in this omnibus deal with the following issues: # #Assessment of Danish drivers; men versus women drivers; atti- tudes to the P.A.Y.E. tax system; attitudes to tax already paid being tax deductible; TV programmes on tax deduction; Danish membership of NATO; attitudes to a referendum on Danish member- ship of NATO in 1969 at the expiration of the present treaty; as- sessment of the necessity for a tax reform; attitudes to Danish membership of the EC (provided that Great Britain joins the EC simultanously); assessment of Russian and American contributions to world peace; Russia's attitude to the USA and to China, especially in case of war between China and the USA; Russia or the USA the best co-operation partner for Western Europe; know- ledge of the Warsaw Pact; and attitudes to the Warsaw Pact countries and the members of NATO joining forces, and US membership of such an alliance
