CTD profiles (depth, pressure, temperature, salinity, potential temperature, density, fluorescence, transmissance, downwelling PAR, dissolved oxygen concentration) binned to 0.5 m and 0.25 m at site L4 in the Western English Channel for 2023

These profile data are collected by Plymouth Marine Laboratory (PML), using CTD sensors attached to a sampling rosette, by the R/V Plymouth Quest, at station L4, which is located 7 nautical miles south-south-west of Plymouth during 2023. The sensors include a SeaBird SBE 19+, a transmissometer, a Chelsea PAR sensor, a fluorometer and an oxygen optode. These data have been processed using Seabird software and have received "light touch" quality control improvements from PML scientists and technicians. These data form part of a long time series collected at this station.
