RepeatModeler and SSR finder derived mapped loci to chromosomes 1 to 12 of Capsicum baccatum and Capsicum chinense

This dataset contains annotated repetitive loci files of the cultivated hot chili peppers Capsicum baccatum and Capsicum chinense. Genome assemblies GCA_002271885.2_ASM227188v2 and GCA_002271895.2_ASM227189v2 were characterized via the RepeatModeler and SSR finder tools. The resultant annotated repetitive loci files are valuable and now available to the interested community for downstream analysis.
