Knowledge Graph Construction Workshop 2025: Challenge

Knowledge graph construction of heterogeneous data has experienced widespread adoption in the last decade from compliance to performance optimizations with respect to execution time. However, emphasis must also be shown to the compliance of knowledge graph construction systems to different use cases and scenarios. This challenge aims at benchmarking knowledge graph systems compliance with numerous different use cases, using declarative mapping languages.

The third edition of the Challenge on KG construction aims to assess the compliance with the new RML specification established by the W3C Community Group on Knowledge Graph Construction, tested under classic and newly developed test cases for each RML module:

These test-cases are evaluated in this Challenge to determine their feasibility, correctness, etc. by applying them in implementations. This Challenge is in Beta status because some new specifications have not seen any implementation yet, thus it may contain bugs and issues. If you find problems with the mappings, output, etc. please report them to the corresponding repository of each module.Through this Challenge we aim to spark development of implementations for the new specifications and improve the test-cases. Let us know your problems with the test-cases and we will try to find a solution.
