Data for: A comparative study of center searching and circle fitting approaches for roundness evaluation, Measurement - Journal of the International Measurement Confederation

The cylindrical specimens with outer diameters of 12.6 mm, 15.8 mm, 18.8 mm, 25 mm, 33.5 mm, 40 mm, and 48.5 mm are represented as Samples A, B, C, D, E, F, and G, respectively. The form data (angle and radial distance of the profile points) measured from each of the seven specimens were discretized into 12 datasets, with sampling point densities varying from 90 to 1200.
