Mitochondrial regulation of bone homeostasis via mitochondria transfer [II]

To reveal an unappreciated mechanism of mitochondrial regulation of skeletal metabolic homeostasis via mitochondria transfer and provide new insights of the mechanism of glucocorticoid-induced osteoporosis progression. Overall design: MtD2pos and mtD2neg CD11b+ myeloid cells were separated from Prx1creMitodendra+/+ mouse bone marrow and performed unbiased RNA-sequencing to test whether mitochondria transfer from osteolineage to osteoclastic lineage cells is associated with alterations in activities of osteoclastic lineage cells.
